The Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), in commemorating it’s 40th anniversary, will be recognising the dedicated efforts of police officers’ wives and the valuable contributions of outstanding individuals to society.
The PCRC, in partnership with the office of the Assistant Auditor General, will provide support to the families of fallen police officers and bestow honors upon notable personalities, including Kwara Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, retired Public Relations Officer of the Kwara Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, legal practitioner and Chairman of Kwara Para Athletics Association, Barrister Aiyelabegan Lanre Abdulkadir, and Dr Murtala Raheem, Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, among others.
According to a press statement by the National Assistant Auditor General, Alhaji Muhammad Uthman Jagunma, the took place yesterday, May 3rd, 2024, at the Police Officers Mess GRA Ilorin, starting at 3 pm.
Alhaji Jagunma, emphasised that “the initiative aims to honor those who have made significant sacrifices in serving our nation.
