COVID-19: Ebonyi NYSC commences Free Test for Corps Members, Officials

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ebonyi State Camp has commenced a free Covid-19 test for all staff and prospective corps members for the Batch B Stream 1A

This was disclosed by NYSC Ebonyi State’s Public Relations officer, Ngọzi Ukwuoma.

She stated that the Old MacGregor College Permanent Orientation Camp started the free COVID-19 test for all staff and prospective corps members on Monday. Adding that all camp officials including the State Coordinator, Mercy Bamai, and all prospective corps members took the COVID 19 test before they were allowed into the camp.

According to her “All other Covid-19 safety protocols are strictly adhered to here on camp by the members of the camp community”

Also speaking, the State Coordinator, Mrs. Bamai revealed the Corps members deployed to the state were lower numbers than that what they used to have as a result of Covid-19 protocols.

She said “We are expecting about 650 prospective Corps members unlike before when we used to have between 1000 to 2000 corps members”, she said.
