A corps member, Olowoyo Korede Sunday, serving in Onicha local Government Area of EBONYI, has donated 100 hand wash liquid soaps to his serving local government, to contain the spread of covid-19 pandemic.
In its bid to support the fight against covid-19 pandemic, the Onicha LGA Community Development Service(CDS) group, also donated 50 pieces of giant plastic waste baskets to the Executive Chairman, to be placed at strategic places across the LGA, for refuse collection and proper disposal.
Receiving the items on behalf of Onicha LGA Chairman, Chief Prince Chima, Onicha Development Center Coordinator, thanked the corps member and the CDs group for the donations. He added that, the local Government would make judicious use of all the donated items.
Present at the event were Mr Ogbonna Chijuka, Onicha NYSC LGI, Corps Member Ogbonnaya Chijuka, (Onicha LGA CDs coordinator), Corps Member Anthony(Abaomege Sub CDs group Coordinator) Secretary to the ONICHA LGA, and some corps members serving in Onicha LGA.
