The outgoing Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HoSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, has been praised by her successor, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, and other civil servants for her dedication, selflessness, and transformative leadership in the civil service.
At a town hall meeting organized by the Joint Union Negotiating Council (JUNC), Walson-Jack commended Yemi-Esan for her monumental contributions to the Nigerian civil service, highlighting her embodiment of the core values of the service.
Yemi-Esan was also praised by the Permanent Secretary of the Common Services Office at the OHCSF, Mr. Raymond Omachi, and the President of JUNC, Mr. Sylvester Ameh, for her leadership in implementing the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP25) and improving the welfare of civil servants.
In her remarks, Yemi-Esan expressed satisfaction with the transformations in the civil service and urged civil servants to continue upholding high standards. She thanked former President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their support and leadership.
Yemi-Esan presented six official vehicles to Directors and handed over keys to two Coaster (Hiace) buses to the Union to ease staff transportation. She will be succeeded by Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack on August 14, 2024.
