Commercial motorcyclists, popularly known as Okada riders in Kwara State, have praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a responsive leader who consistently earns their respect.
The transporters, represented by various organizations including the Road Transport Workers Association of Nigeria (RTWAN), National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Okada Riders Association of Nigeria (ORAN), and Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN), made this declaration in Ilorin on Sunday during a solidarity rally for the APC-led government both at the state and national levels.
Gathering in large numbers at the Amusement Park in Ilorin, the groups expressed their support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the need for continued public understanding and support.
Addressing the members, the state Chairman of NURTW, Alhaji Abdulrazak Ariwoola, stated that Governor AbdulRazaq has performed admirably and deserves ongoing support from the people. Speaking through Alhaji Abdulazeez Tinuola, he appreciated the Governor’s responsiveness to the welfare of their members in the state.
Ariwoola also declared that none of their members are willing to participate in any protest that could disrupt the existing peace and harmony in the state.
