Mr. Alex Eyengho, the Spokesman for the Ologbotsere Descendants of Warri Kingdom, declared today that Chief Ayirimi Emami is the legitimate Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom.
According to Eyengho, any other person claiming the title is “fake, counterfeit, and unknown to the Ologbotsere family.”
Eyengho made this statement during the Ologbotsere Day celebration at Ubeji Community, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
He noted that only the Ologbotsere family has the authority to nominate an individual for the esteemed position, following the traditions and customs of Itsekiri land.
“The Ologbotsere family has already nominated Chief Ayirimi Emami for the position,” Eyengho stated.
“There is only one Ologbotsere in Warri Kingdom, and that is Chief Ayirimi Emami.”
Eyengho further asserted that those who believe there is another Ologbotsere in Warri Kingdom are delusional.
“They are living in delusion and will continue to delude themselves,” he said.
He added that the twelve children of the Ologbotsere Eyenisaren family are united in their support for Chief Ayirimi Emami.
“The unity of the Ologbotsere Descendants is unprecedented. They are united and firmly behind Chief Ayirimi Emami,” Eyengho emphasized.
There is an ongoing legal case regarding the true Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom.
The dispute is between Chief Eyewuoma, recently installed as the new Ologbotsere by the Olu of Warri Kingdom, HRM Ogiame Atuwatse III, and Chief Ayirimi Emami.
