Wanted Suspected Criminal Arrested With AK-47, Ammunition In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man, Shuaibu Abubakar, who was on its wanted list.

The spokesperson for the command, Suleiman Nguroje, made this known on the command’s X page on Wednesday.

The statement read, “Another 30-year-old man identified as Shuaibu Abubakar has been arrested following the manhunt by the operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command in collaboration with Hunters on 17/10/2023.

“The suspect equally hails from Tambo in Girei LGA and was on the wanted list of the Command.

“Interestingly, One AK-47 Rifle loaded with Sixteen(16) rounds of live ammunition was recovered from the criminal.

“The Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, while expressing Happiness added that there is no hidden place for criminals in Adamawa State, as strategies to checkmating kidnapping activities emplaced in these ember months.”
