All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in all the Houses of Assembly in the North-East zone have called for zoning of the 2023 presidential ticket of to the northern region of the country.
The lawmakers in a communiqué signed by Alhaji Sadique Ibrahim of Gombe State, which was issued at the end of their extraordinary meeting on Thursday in Bauchi.
They however drumed support for presidential aspiration of Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello.
“This is because the North will rule for 10 years at the end of President Buhari’s tenure, while the South has ruled for 14 years”.
The legislators expressed their unalloyed support to the aspiration of Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi “who has, against all odds, decided to take the bull by the horn by aspiring to the office of the President of Nigeria, come 2023.
