…angry mob burn down house

Adehun area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State was thrown into a state of confusion when a seven-year-old girl, Demilade Fadare, who was declared missing on Monday, December 6, 2021 was found dead, yesterday.
It was gathered that the girl was found dead inside a cooler in a neighbour’s house.
According to report which went viral online, the girl was allegedly stabbed multiple times and kept inside a cooler.
It was further gathered that the incident led residents of the area to burn down the house where the victim’s dead body was found.
Speaking with National Telescope in a telephone chat, the Ekiti Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abutu Sunday confirmed the incident.
He however disclosed that the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Amba Asuquo has directed a thorough investigation into the incident.
“Yes the little girl was said to be missing and was later found dead inside a cooler in a house. The girl’s corpse has been deposited in a morgue while the commissioner of police has ordered thorough investigation into the incident.
Speaking further, the PPRO said, “a part of the building was razed down this morning by some angry mob and this is also being looked into,” he divulged.
