The management of the University of Ilorin has called on Students to remain calm as the institution portal is undergoing maintenance.
This is coming after a notice went viral on social media warning students not to pay their school fees that the school portal has been hacked.
The notice said “ News reaching me now that unilorin portal has been messed with by hackers, a link is appearing on some people’s portal, which reads “proceed to pay without registration”.
Please nobody should pay school fees yet until unilorin portal is confirmed secured.”
Meanwhile the University of Ilorin has said there is no cause for alarm that the portal is currently undergoing maintenance.
In a chat with Campus Focus at the weekend, the institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs Mr. Kunle Akogun urge the students not to panic.
“I am aware that the portal is undergoing maintenance. So, there is no need for panic”
