The University of Ibadan has extended warm felicitations to one of its esteemed ambassadors, Chief Tunde Fanimokun, Agbaakin, as he marks his 81st birthday.
In a statement released on Monday, the institution expressed gratitude for Chief Fanimokun’s unwavering support and generosity towards the university.
“The University of Ibadan rejoices with one of its greatest benefactors, Chief Tunde Fanimokun, Agbaakin, as he celebrates his 81st birthday today. The University has immensely benefited from the goodwill and contributions you extended in celebration of your 80th birthday,” the statement read.
On behalf of the university community, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, conveyed best wishes, saying, “The Council, Senate, Congregation, staff, and students of the University join in celebrating you. We pray that the Almighty grants you many more years in sound health, both in body and mind.”
