Turkey-Syria earthquake deaths cross 23,000

The death toll from the earthquake of Turkey and Syria has risen above 23,000.

According to Turkey’s Disaster Management Authority on Friday, the death toll has increased to 19,875.

Earlier, the Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that more than 77,700 people had been injured in the disaster.

Similarly, the total number of fatalities in Syria stands at 3,377.
