Tinubu Expresses Condolences, Pledges Support for Flood Victims

President Bola Tinubu has conveyed his deep sadness over the severe flooding that has devastated numerous communities and farmlands across Nigeria. 

His message of sympathy was delivered in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

According to recent statistics from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the floods have resulted in multiple fatalities, the destruction of thousands of hectares of farmland, and the displacement of many people throughout the country. 

President Tinubu expressed his heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the floods, with particular attention to the grieving families, displaced individuals, and farmers who have suffered significant losses. 

The President underscored the critical need for concerted efforts to tackle environmental issues and to build the nation’s capacity to withstand the challenges posed by climate change
