Tinubu Appoints Didi Walson-Jack as Head of Civil Service

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 14, 2024.

This announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, and made available to the press.

Mrs. Walson-Jack, a Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017, has served in various ministries. She will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.

President Tinubu expressed his gratitude to Dr. Yemi-Esan for her dedicated service and urged Mrs. Walson-Jack to bring innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to civil service regulations in her new role.
