The Sultan recognised the devastating impact of banditry and insurgency on the region, which has displaced thousands and severely affected food production.
These disruptions not only cause immediate hardship but also threaten the region’s long-term stability and economic health.
The summit, which aims to devise effective solutions to the ongoing security challenges, was attended by key figures such as Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Muhammadu Buhari, several state governors, service chiefs, and the Inspector General of Police.
