Sporting Lagos Sacks Coach Due to Poor Performance

Sporting Lagos, a team in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), has parted ways with coach Paul Offor due to unsatisfactory performance during the current football season.

The announcement was made via their official X website.

The statement reads: “Sporting Lagos announces the departure of Head Coach Paul Offor.

“Coach Paul brought top-flight football back to our city and gave us the first pieces of silverware in our history.

“Thank you for your dedication, Coach Paul. We wish you success in your future endeavors.”

Coach Paul will depart along with his assistant coaches, Micah Bello and Edward Green.

With only eight matches remaining in the season, the team aims to focus on maintaining their position in the top flight and securing maximum points.
