Senate screens 14 Ministerial nominees, others resume Tuesday

The Senate on Monday screened 14 Ministerial-nominees while the screening of 28 others will continue on Tuesday.

President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio presided over the screening which commenced with a prayer at 12:41pm.

During the screening, Ex-Lawmaker and Ex-governors took a bow.

Among those screened includes: a two-time member of the House of Representatives, Abubakar Momoh; Former governor of RIvers state, Nyesom Wike; a Professor from Benue State, Joseph Utsev; acting National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Sen. Abubakar Kyari; Former Senator John Enoh from Cross River State; Barrister Bello Mohammed; and former Jigawa State Governor, Badaru Abubakar.

Others are: Yusuf Maitama Tuggar from Bauchi State; former Taraba State deputy governor, Senator Abubakar Sani Danladi; Uju Kennedy Ohaneye from Anambra State; former chairman of the House Committee on NDDC, Mr Olubunmi Ojo; Nkiruka Onyejeocha from Abia State; the National women leader of the APC, Betty Edu; and Iman Suleiman Ibrahim from Nasarawa State.
