Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki’s son, Seni, has won his first Grammy Award.
Seni, a co-founder of The Native, a Lagos-based Nigerian music magazine, was recognized for his contribution to the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ soundtrack, which took home the award for Best Reggae Album at the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles.
Dr. Saraki took to Facebook to congratulate his son, saying, “Congratulations, Seni, on winning your first Grammy last night for your work on the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ soundtrack, which took home the award for Best Reggae Album! “Seeing you pour your heart into your passion and having it recognized on the global stage is an indescribable joy.
“Well done! We are super proud of you!”Seni’s achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the music industry.
As a consultant for the collaborative project ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, he played a key role in earning four Grammy nominations in 2023.
This win is a significant milestone in his career.
