Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR), have expressed their condolences over the passing of Mrs. Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi, wife of the Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a heartfelt message, described the late Mrs. Ojelabi as a nurturing mother whose warmth and kindness touched many lives.
“I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi on the passing of his beloved wife. This is an extremely difficult loss, but I encourage you to take heart. Mrs. Esther Ojelabi lived a remarkable life and will be deeply missed. May God bless her soul and grant you comfort. We share in your grief and are here for you,” Sanwo-Olu said.

Similarly, Jandor, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as painful and untimely.
“At this sad moment, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of our party State Chairman and the entire Ojelabi dynasty. The loss of a loved one, especially a spouse, is an indescribable pain. I pray that God grants the family the strength to bear this loss, and may her gentle soul rest in peace,” Jandor stated.
The passing of Mrs. Ojelabi has left a deep void in her family and the political community, with tributes pouring in from across the state.
