Sallah: NSCDC deploy 2,300 officers in Oyo

As the Muslim faithful prepares to celebrate the Eid-El Kabir, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State command has deployed 2,300 to provide adequate security in the State.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to NATIONAL TELESCOPE by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Okuneye Oyindamola on Thursday.

According to the statement, NSCDC Oyo State Commandant, CC Adaralewa Michael advocates peace amongst all tribes, ethnics, and religious group in the Country.

He admonished all divisional officers across the State to see Eid-El Kabir festival as a challenge in other to beef up Security in their various divisions.

The Commandant stressed that the Country can only overcome all his Security challenges if peace and unity among the citizenry is given a priority.

He disclosed that Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo State Command have intensified surveillance and patrol of Critical infrastructures, flash spots,shopping malls, recreation centres and NNPC right of ways to forestall criminality and make Oyo crime free during the Eid-El Kabir celebrations.

He maintained that armed, unarmed and covert officers will be on duty during the celebrations.
