Benue state governor, Rev,Fr.Hyacinth Alia, on Monday,announced the construction of sixteen roads within the Makurdi environs covering fifteen to thirty nine kilometers .
The governor said, the roads will cost six billion naira and expected to be executed in eleven months
Alia explained that the construction of the sixteen roads is as a preparedness towards new benue within the hundred days in office.
The governor revealed that the roads for construction are odeh-ageh-john felse street(1.08km)includingAbanyam and Othaniel Taanghar street, Orkuma Akinda street (810meters),Lush street (580metres) and Augustinian community roads(1.13km),this will be done in all GRA part of makurdi including the Nigerian Navy barracks road (1.98km)Keghem Makurdi street (420metres )with the Adeke/Achusa area among others.
