In a renewed fallout between the Okoye twins, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has accused his brother Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, of stealing his song. The claim follows the duo’s third breakup earlier this year.
Mr P recently released a track titled Winning, which Rudeboy alleges he originally wrote and recorded with a producer who later passed it on to Peter. In an Instagram post, Rudeboy questioned the ethics of the move, saying, “Song title: Winning. Written and sang by Rudeboy. Produced by same producer. Now how come? Am I supposed to release another version?”
He added that he had submitted six songs to their management and expressed frustration over what he described as “re-singing my own song, word for word,” which he had intended for his album set to drop in June next year.
Rudeboy further warned that he would release the original versions of any of his songs that might be re-recorded by his brother. “The days of manipulation are over!” he stated. “If I hear any song that only I sang, I’ll release the original version. Music is not that hard!”
This public clash has reignited speculation about the ongoing rift between the once-iconic PSquare duo. Fans are watching closely to see if this latest dispute will lead to further revelations—or, possibly, another reconciliation attempt.
