An unconfirmed numbers of people including police officers and some drivers have been killed by Armed Rubbers who attacked a bullion van conveying money to a bank in Ibadan.
The incident occured between 12pm and 1pm at Idi Ape Junction, Iwo road area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told NATIONAL TELESCOPE the robbers who where on Police Uniform attacked and opened fire on the bullion van after it crossed the traffic light.
In a video posted on facebook, a bike Man, 2 drivers and Police men were shot dead while several aothers escaped death.
The incident occured less than one kilometers from the police area command, testing ground station.
Efforts to get the reactions of the Oyo State Police Command on the incident proved abortive as call and text to the Command’s PPRO, Adewale Osifeso was not responded to as at the time of filing this report.
