The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has announced a groundbreaking scholarship initiative for 200 brilliant but financially challenged students of Oluyole origin.
This programme, in partnership with Aries Polytechnic, Ibadan, aims to support secondary school graduates from the local government area in advancing their education at a private polytechnic. The scholarship will commence in the upcoming academic session and aligns with Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision of breaking barriers to quality education in Oyo State.
Details of the Scholarship
- Coverage: Tuition fees and related expenses for Ordinary National Diploma (OND) programs in Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences.
- Eligibility: Applicants must:
- Be indigenes of Oluyole LG.
- Have at least five credits in O’level results, including Mathematics and English.
- Submit their applications with original credentials and a local government certificate of origin.
Application Process:
Interested candidates should visit the Education Department, Oluyole LG Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, to submit their applications for scrutiny.
Engr. Olatunji emphasised that education is a vital tool for empowering youths and expressed his commitment to helping financially disadvantaged students access quality education. “This scholarship is a pathway to success for our young people and an opportunity to create a brighter future for Oluyole LG,” he said.
