The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Oyo State has commiserated with the Oyo State Traditional Council and the people of Iseyin over the demise of the Aseyin of Iseyin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul-Ganiy Adekunle Ologunebi Ajinese 1.
In a statement signed by the commission’s Administrative Secretary in the State, Biodun Onikate Amosu, and made available to NATIONAL TELESCOPE, INEC described the death of the Monarch as a big loss to the State and the Electoral Management Body in the State.
He noted further that the late Kabiyesi was supportive and spearhead various Electoral activities of the Commission in the State, especially in disseminating various sensitization programmes at the grass- root level.
He expressed his condolences to the Oyo State Traditional Council, Oba Salaudeen’s immediate family, Iseyin indigenes and the entire Yoruba race.
He prayed that, God will grant repose to the soul of the departed Monarch, he added.
