The candidate recognized by INEC is Mr Olaniyi Ajekiigbe. This is verifiable at INEC office and websites.

“Action Alliance AA was the first party to form coalition with His Excellency Engr Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde and PDP on 9th of March 2023 in a meeting held at the Presidential Lodge of Oyo State Government House in the presence of notable leaders of PDP like Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Chief Mrs Mutiat Ladoja, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor Barrister Bayo Lawal , DG Omituntun 2.0. Chief Bayo Lawal, Dr Dayo Ogungbenro Oyo State PDP Chairman, Hon Akeem Ige and His Excellency Engr Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde.

“We in Oyo State never took the governor to tribunal and we don’t have any candidate bearing Ajala Babatunde in our party.

“Action Alliance is solidly behind His Excellency”.

The party however enjoined law enforcement agencies in the state to arrest and prosecute the impostor to serve as a deterrence to others.
