Ogun Govt. partners Microsoft on Education

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun

The Ogun State Government has collaborated with Microsoft Corporation on Education Development in the State.

This was disclosed in a statement by the S.A to the State Governor on Primary Secondary & Technical Education, Ronke Soyombo on the State Twitter handle on Thursday 23rd April, 2020

Soyombo said that the initiative is in line with the State Government efforts to reposition education in the state.

“Ogun collaborates with @Microsoft to design Remote Learning System for its Education sector.
It is also aimed at providing Content for Curriculum redesigning, learning resources platform Automation and information processing (Emailing, Assessments/Data and Digital Literacy professional development for its teachers and learners.

She however enjoined stakeholders to fully participate in the initiative.

“Players in the sector are therefore enjoined to key into the initiative and ensure undivided participation in all activities to augment governments efforts geared towards repositioning education in the state.”
