NYSC directs institutions to return unclaimed certificates

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has instructed all institutions producing corps members to return all unclaimed exception Certificates in their custody to the NYSC headquarters on or before 15th March, 2023

According to a memo from the NYSC dated 15th December a copy of which was signed and addressed to the Rector, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and made available to National Telescope by the Public Relations Officer, Adewole Soladoye on Monday, stated that the decision of the retrieval was arrived at, based on a new policy by the NYSC.

The statement reads in parts, “Beginning from the next Batch of Exception certificates to be delivered to corps producing Institutions, all unclaimed copies shall be returned to NYSC within Six (6) months of receipts from the Scheme,” the NYSC reiterated.

According to the above directives by the NYSC, all former Students with exception Certificates in the custody of the Polytechnic, Ibadan are advised to collect such as all the unclaimed certificates will be returned to the NYSC headquarters before the expiration of the NYSC deadline.
