Following the lingering allegation of certificate forgery against President Bola Tinubu, the Senior Pastor of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (Juniperi Family), Prophet Oluwasegun Ayo has described the call for the resignation of the President as irrelevant.
He stated that Tinubu is already the president of the Africa’s most populous nation and any attempt to resign over the lingering issue will be a shame on Nigeria.
He said this during an interview at the 2023 anniversary held at the Church premises at Wakajaye area, Mosalasi Oloyo, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
He also said with the current economic situation of the country, there is a need for prayer for all Nigerians and for the success of President Tinubu’s administration.
He said, “I don’t think resign is the best option because he’s already our president, so when we say he should resign now it is like we are disgracing ourselves.”
“Everybody deserve prayers not only president Tinubu. Nigeria needs prayer and we need to advise ourselves to always do the right things.”
Speaking further on the anniversary of the ministry, the cleric stated that the annual event which has been held for over 10 years is aimed at appreciating God’s goodness over the ministry.
According to him, “The God of Moses Oritunolase makes the anniversary possible every year particular in October.”
Also speaking in an interview, Wife of the Senior Pastor, Mrs. Oluwasegun (Mama Juniperi) admonished believers to be steadfast in their service to God.
She said, “As believers, we have to be steadfast with God. We must recognise the fact that without God we can do nothing. We should always call upon the Him, ask him for forgiveness when we go wrong in our relationship with him and be ready to change our ways. He is the only one that can forgive and bless us but we must work and walk with Him always.”
Some guests at the event in separate interview felicitated with the ministry for the success of the event, saying “only God can do this in the life of His people.”
A special guest, Senior Prophet Stephen Oloruntoba said the event has been a blessing to many since it’s inception.
He said, “I blessed the name of the Lord for his safety as I committed my mind to attending this event all the way from Lagos State. I thank God for what He has been doing through the ministry very the years.
“You can see that despite the weather, the event was successful. This is an indication of the grace, blessings and breakthrough in this Ministry. It is also an attestation to prayers answered. I strongly believe that more people will testify after this event.”
In the same vein, another Special Guest from Lagos, Mrs Romoke Oladele who said she is a regular participant at the yearly event, noted that God has been doing great wonders through the glorious gathering.
The event was attended by Ministers, Pastors Prophets and Special Guests among whom are: Baba Aladura Amurejesu Worldwide, (Kabba), Senior Prophet Stephen Oloruntoba (Lagos); Senior Prophet Eri (Ogun); Senior Prophet Abegunde and Mrs Romoke Oladele (Lagos).
Highlights of the event was special ministration by Gospel Artiste amongst whom included: Mrs Adekunle Oluwatoyin (aka Ayana Esa); Mrs Dolapo Taiwo (aka Ejide Alakara) and Mr Ezekiel Atilola (aka Makanje Tobolo).
