President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate removal of Brigadier-General Muhammad Kukah Fadah from his position as Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, less than six months after taking office.
Although the presidency has not given reasons for Mr Fadah’s dismissal, credible sources in the Villa told PRNigeria that the NYSC boss’ dismissal is not unrelated to the fact that he has displayed ‘glaring incompetence’ in the six months he has piloted the affairs of NYSC.
The source learned that the ousted NYSC Director General has been asked to hand over to the organization’s most senior civil servant, who will serve as DG in the interim.
