Thirteen candidates scored 01 in the 2024 common entrance examination results for Unity schools, as announced by the National Examination Council (NECO).
The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu revealed this during a press briefing on Tuesday.
The 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) saw 71,291 candidates participating across 599 centers on June 1, 2024.
NECO’s data indicated that Lagos State had the highest number of candidates with 17,751, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 10,209 candidates, and Anambra State in third with 4,972 candidates.
Out of the total candidates, 66,931 were present, while 4,360 were absent.
Dr. Sununu also announced that the highest score achieved was 203 out of 210.
He reiterated that the admission process would continue to be based on 60% merit.
