Commandant General of the Nigerian Civil Defence and Security Corps (NSCDC), Ahmed Abubakar Audi, reiterated the Corps’ dedication to prioritize personnel training in fulfilling its constitutional duties successfully.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, he highlighted the importance of equipping officers with global best practices to protect critical national assets effectively.
The CG assured that the Corps is tirelessly working to protect critical national assets and address the security challenges facing the country.
In addition to enhancing personnel training, Dr. Audi emphasized the commitment of the Corps under his leadership to the success of the Safe Schools initiative. The initiative aims to prevent attacks on schools and host communities, recognizing the significance of education in national development.
He called on members and stakeholders at the National Safe Schools Response Coordination Centre (NSSRCC) to provide expert support to ensure the program’s effective implementation and success.
