The influential singer, David Adeleke, popularly identified as Davido, disclosed that money is the root cause of many problems in the nation.
According to the influential singer, Davido on his official micro-blogging platform, X on Friday, asked his followers if money should be banned by the government.
“Shey make them ban money? Na money dey cause problems.” He said.
However, the controversial post created different response and misinterpretation from his fans, while some accepted the statement others objected to the opinion.
Recently, few months ago Davido has been lauded and appreciated on social media by his fans for his consistent philanthropic lifestyle of giving as he rewards common man seeking his attention; with his recent gift of N2m to Okoli Classic a Nigerian content creator, after she made a beautiful video that went viral on social media platforms.
