Barcelona delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, crushing archrivals Real Madrid 4-0, with Polish star Robert Lewandowski scoring twice to seal Madrid’s first La Liga defeat in over a year.

Lewandowski set the tone early, striking in the 20th and 40th minutes to put Barcelona firmly in control.

“We came here to show we mean business, and that’s exactly what we did,” Lewandowski said, reflecting on his standout performance.

Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal added to the scoreline with a brilliant finish, showcasing his skill and composure against Madrid’s defense.

Brazilian winger Raphinha then completed the rout, scoring in the closing minutes to send Camp Nou into a frenzy.

“It’s a night to remember,” Raphinha told reporters. “This is what we live for—winning El Clasico with such style.”

It was a frustrating night for Madrid’s superstar Kylian Mbappe, who had two goals ruled out for offside in his first El Clasico appearance.

“We had our chances, but it wasn’t our day,” Mbappe admitted, visibly disappointed.

With this emphatic victory, Barcelona extends their lead over Real Madrid by six points at the top of the La Liga table.
