The Apex Kwara State Students body has been battling with some internal crisis after a recently announced suspension of the President Comr. Musa Muhammed Mancha by the Senate President while he (Mancha) opposed the move stating it’s only within the power of the Congress to suspend and not the senate.

The Senate as since then appointed the Vice President (Admin) Comr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Paranti as the Acting President.

Speaking with this medium, the NAKSS President suspended by the Senate reaffirmed his position as the NAKSS President.

“The appointment as far as I know is not a new thing to him, he has done it before. From the Students angle and as the President of the entire Kwara State Students, am readily assured and optimistic that by the grace of God as a father, a mentor and above all He a model to everyone of us.

“He has played and he is still playing a lot of significant role towards the development of Kwara State Students. We are very sure that his position as now the SA on Students Affairs will go a long way to bring peace to the society and the generality of the student body. We believe in him so much and we are sure with him we will experience more progress in NAKSS. He added

In a similar interview, the Acting President Comr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Paranti describe Comrade Bisi Fakayode as an honest and sincere person who always seek the best for the student body.

“With my experience with Baba Bisi Fakayode when I was the NAKSS chief whip some years back without any iota of doubt Comr. Bisi Fakayo is a definition of trust, honesty, a philanthropist  and a man of his word based on his past antecedent.

“He facilitated how last year bursary was paid without any hidden motive, he didn’t even collect any token from the students. We are certain with him the association will move forward.”

Meanwhile the NAKSS Senate President Comrade Abdulazeez El-Imam has called on Comrade Bisi Fakayode to direct the suspended President to obey the rulings of the Association Senate in respect to the suspension.

“We are very much delighted and we commend the government, Comrade Bisi Fakoyode is a father and a guardian to us. He is one who can tell us this or that and we will accept but on this issue of suspension, it more or less an internal issue.

“We want Comrade Bisi Fakayode to tell Mancha to stop parading himself as the president of NAKSS and he should obey the decision of the Senate. If he has any issue he should go to the judicial arm of NAKSS.” he added.

Meanwhile Comrade Bisi Fakayode in a phone chat with CAMPUS FOCUS assured that the issue will be addressed.

“Of course we will look into the issue, I know them, we have interacted and whatever is happening am sure we will look into it.”
