The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic,Ilorin,Dr. Jimoh Mohammed Abdul has described the appointment of Hon. Yahaya Ahmed Yinusa “Bulldozer ” as Chairman Governing Council of Kwara State Polytechnic as well deserved one.
In a congratulatory letter to the newly appointed Chairman, Abdul noted that the track record of the Hon. Yahaya Ahmed Yinusa qualified him to be appointed.
According to him, ” it is a well deserved appointment having considered your track record as a bridge builder and grassroots politician.
“You served meritoriously as Member representating Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives from 1999 to 2007.
“The constituency, during your eight years tenure at the National Assembly witnessed unprecedented developments.
“We recall that as a seasoned, competent and efficient Administrator of note, you chaired various House Committees such as Works, Education among others.”
The Rector however,advised the Chairman to use the rich and wide-range experiences to lead the Governing Council, noting that “your leadership will no doubt, bring to bear,modern Administrative techniques, creativity and innovations.”
Abdul therefore, prayed God to him stable health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to confront the onerous assignment and shoulder the great responsibilities bestowed on him.
