Kwara State Council for Art and Culture has been disclosed the best Merchandising Pavilion at the just concluded 16th International Arts and Crafts (INAC) Expo on Saturday. This was made known after the tour of Otunba Segun Rusewe the Director General for National Council for Art and Culture and the organiser of the Expo who deemed It feat that Kawara State Council for Art and Culture and Indonesia made the best Pavilion in Merchandising.
In reaction to this, Mrs Adeola Olanipekun Ag. Director of Kwara State council for art and culture, expressed her unalloyed feelings of appreciation to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasak for his all time support. She also noted that this honor would not have been possible if not for his strong support.
Mrs. Adeola Olanipekun also thanked the management staff for their unwavering contributions towards achieving this success and enjoin them to do more in the coming edition.
Li Xuda who is the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria said” I am excited to see how the expo has been over the past days with the display of beautiful culture across nations and states. We need to work together to create a better future”.
Meanwhile Ogun State was the overall winner of the Expo while Rivers and Taraba took 2nd position, Katsina and Kwara secured the 3rd position, Kaduna and Ebonyi and Borno earned 4th and 5th positions respectively. Indonesia and Burkina-Faso were the best enterprising countries of the Expo.
The Expo started on the 7th of September and concluded on the 9th with 16 States and 29 countries in participation.
