The Cordinator, Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Kwara state Chapter, Mallam Adamu Ahmed Saba has bagged a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Political Science of American Heritage University of Southern California USA.
The event at Ladi kwali hall, Sheraton hotel, Abuja on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Mallam Saba who is also the ‘Ajiyan Shonga land’ is a native of Shonga in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara state.
He is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed Saba Global Concept Ltd.
His contribution towards the development of his community cannot be exhausted here due to the limitation of time. He has in many times sacrificed his comfort in order for his people to enjoy better life and peaceful coexistence.
His idea of what philanthropy and humanitarian services really means, is the willingness of the privileged few in any society to subject themselves to some level of unease, discomfort or even pains when the need arises in order to make life better for those who are not so privileged in the society.
As a young Man, Adamu could have just focused on how to acquire wealth. But the inborn desire to always be in the midst of his people, to understand, share their feelings and help to lessen or stamp out their plight informed his altruistic and philanthropic lifestyle.
He shares the philosophy that connecting with populace will be mutually beneficial.
For him, the down trodden remain his kith and kin, neither does he allow ethnic and clannish consideration to drive his motives when he render his humanitarian services but operate an open door policy. This attitude earned him the chieftaincy title he was honored with by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Shonga. Mall. Adamu Ahmed Saba is currently the AJIYAN OF SHONGA, which means ‘Treasure of Shonga Land’.
Mallam Adamu is a man of modest fortune who believes that ones’ comfort can only make meaning when he is able to put it at the services of humanity.
