The Kwara State Government has commenced the construction of the Unity Flyover in Ilorin the state capital.
This was made known in a statement by Sam Bola onile press secretary for ministry of works & transportation on Tuesday 6 February
Meanwhile, ahead the construction, movement of vehicle have been diverted from challenge down to olak filling station to oave way the commencement of the construction of the unity roundabout flyover.
He urge all the motorists and other road users to make use of the alternative routes mentioned in the government’s earlier communication. The alternative routes include Coca-Cola road down to Stella Obasanjo and Ahmad bello way to police Road, UMCA church down to offa garage. Motorist coming from Emir’s road to obbo road can make a u-turn at unity road towards Coca-Cola.
The Honourable commissioner Abdulquswiy Olododo apologies to the. general publics for the inconveniences this might cause. He conclude the statement.
