King Charles Appoints DJ Cuppy as Ambassador

King Charles III recently met with Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, in London and appointed her as an ambassador. The British monarch graciously invited Cuppy to a reception at Buckingham Palace, marking the celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.In a statement from the palace, it was announced: “The Master of The King’s Household is commanded by His Majesty to invite Ms. Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola to a Reception to be given at Buckingham Palace by The King in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.”This prestigious annual ceremony honours the achievements of young individuals who have overcome adversities and contributed positively to their communities.Cuppy, elated by the honor, shared glimpses of her encounter with King Charles on her Instagram page. Wearing a pink skirt and buba, she revealed her appointment as The King’s Trust International Ambassador.In her post, she wrote: “This week, I was honoured to be invited for a special reception with His Majesty the King at Buckingham Palace. As a @KingsTrustInternational ambassador, I’m overjoyed to join our Global Award winners for the #PrincesTrustAwards 2024.”Meanwhile, Femi Otedola, the esteemed Nigerian billionaire and Cuppy’s father, praised her for representing Nigeria with excellence. He proudly declared on Instagram: “Our @CuppyMusic is going places! His Majesty King Charles III invited Ms. Cuppy to Buckingham Palace, and she represented us brilliantly. Congratulations on your new role as a King’s Trust International Ambassador.”
