Kaduna State Government Breaks Ground for Sunagrow Oil, Propelling Investment to $89M



Celebrating his first year in office, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony for Sunagrow International Oil Ltd, a $50 million soya refining plant located in Kutungare village along Airport Road.

With a notable daily production capacity of 500,000 litres, the plant signifies a substantial investment in Kaduna State’s economic landscape, reflecting the Governor’s steadfast commitment to attracting investments and fostering economic prosperity.

Under his leadership, Kaduna State has experienced a significant surge in investment, totaling $89,323,104 within just one year (from May 2023 to date). Of this sum, $81,540,943 has already materialised, with an additional $7,789,160.60 earmarked and awaiting implementation.

These investments have not only boosted the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) but have also facilitated the creation of 20,976 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The increase in job creation will not only benefit local communities but will also contribute significantly to the overall economic advancement of Kaduna State.
