JUST IN: Ex-APGA Chairman, Njoku, emerges NRM’s New National Chairman

Chief Edozie Njoku, former national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has been elected as the new national chairman of the National Rescue Movement (NRM).

Njoku’s emergence was confirmed on Friday during an emergency national convention of the party, held in Abuja and monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

His appointment follows the decision of the party’s former national chairman, Ambassador Isaac Udeh, to step down. Ambassador Udeh has since been appointed as the national organising secretary of NRM.

Party members unanimously agreed on Njoku as the new leader, recognizing his wealth of experience and leadership skills.

After being declared national chairman, Njoku expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Udeh for his dedication and sacrifice. He also pledged to revamp and reposition the party ahead of future elections, starting with the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State.
