Imode Community Secondary School to hold 4th Inter-House Sport March 11

Management of Community Secondary School, Imode, Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State has rolled out plans of it’s 4th Inter-House Athletics Competition.

The event which holds at the school premises on Friday, March 11, 2022, will feature competition in various sport activities among which includes; 100m (Jnr & Snr Boys & Girls), 200m (Jnr & Snr Boys & Girls), 4×400m (Boys & Girls) and Relay Race.

Others are: Cultural Dance, March Past and Egg Race.

Participants will cut across four houses; Blue, Red, Green and Yellow while students from other schools will also be participating in various activities.

Speaking in a phone chat with National Telescope, the Senior Secondary School Principal, Mal. Raheem Tajudeen Adebiyi, stated that the event is aimed at further promoting the image of the school and strengthen the ties among the students.

He said, “We will be having the event on the 11th of March, 2022. We see this as one of such efforts of developing the younger generations. We want to build our students with strong ties of unity and love amongst themselves, we equally want to promote our school within and outside this community. And with the plans on ground, we are hoping at the end of this event, the school would have achieve more than our expectations. All we need is the support of all stakeholders.”

“The plans has already been set on motion and we like to use this medium to invite all members of Imode Community, home and abroad as well as members of all the neibouring communities to be part of this history making event.

“Its not just about the Inter-House Sport, but the spirit it carries, which is the spirit of love, unity, peace and oneness.” He added.

The event which is jointly organized by the management of the Junior and Senior Schools will hold at the school field, Imode, along Iloffa-Erinmope Road, Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State.
