Raving singer, Divine Ikubor aka Rema, has revealed his inspiration behind pursuing music.
He said the late Afrobeats pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Wizkid, Burna Boy and American rapper, Kanye West inspired him to do music.
He disclosed this in an interview with Hip TV.
Rema said he is inspired by Burna Boy’s story, Wizkid’s lifestyle and Kanye West’s creativity.
He said: “I’m inspired by Burna Boy because of his story. Fela Kuti inspires me. Kanye West inspires me because of how far he goes in terms of his creativity, production.
“I really like Wizkid because of how he carries himself.”
He said he plans to stay consistent by being original and unique.
