Hardship: Lagos Rep, Kalejaiye urges Nigerians to be hopeful

House of Representatives Member representing Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Mr Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul, has urged Nigerians to be hopeful for a greater Nigeria.

He stated this against the backdrop of a myriad of challenges currently bedevilling the country.

He assured Nigerians of a positive transformation that will bring unending joy to the country.

The lawmaker stated this while speaking during the Ramadan Lecture/Prayer for the Nation, organised for the people of Ajeromi/Ifelodun a.k.a Mini Nigeria; tagged; “Message of Hope”.

He enjoined Nigeria’s leadership and followership to consistently do the right thing through expressing love for one another, unity and tolerance both during and after the Ramadan/Lent fasting seasons.

Speaking further, he urged Nigerians to prioritise farming and agriculture, stressing that all individuals should own a farm.

He said, “Government is responsively listening to the yearnings of the people, making policy directions that will favour the masses. Nigerians should be aware that 2024 is a year of joy as importation of petroleum products will stop this year.”

Delivering, the Ramadan Lecture with the theme ‘Message of Hope’ the Chief Imaam, Ajegunle Central Mosque, Alhaji Shuaib Bamidele revealed that all hands must be on deck with determination to do the right thing for truly positive change to happen in the country.

Bamidele lamented that intolerance, lack of love, selflessness as well as trading blame are major problems impeding the desired change.

He maintained that Prayer and God’s intervention is the way out. He urged the masses to support the government and be patient.

On his part, the Special Guest, Chairman Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Kamal Bayewu urged Nigerians to maintain their commitment and urged Nigerians to be hopeful in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.
