Gunmen Attack Church, Kidnap Worshippers in Delta

A horrific attack on a church in Delta State has left a pastor severely injured and six worshippers kidnapped.

The incident occurred at the Elyon Paradise Ministry Church in Asagba Ogwashi, Aniocha South Local Government Area, during a Friday night vigil.

According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen stormed the church, shot Apostle Divine Omodia, the pastor, and cut off two of his fingers.

The assailants then abducted six church members and took them to an unknown location.

“They shot the pastor, cut off his fingers, and took six church members away. ”

The pastor was rushed to the hospital, where several medical personnel battled to save his life.

The attack has sent shockwaves through the community, with many residents expressing concern for the safety of the kidnapped worshippers.

The police are yet to comment on the incident, but an investigation is expected to be launched soon.
