A group,Pearl Education Network (PEN), has raised concerns over need for youth empowerment across the country.
Speaking in an interview with NATIONAL TELESCOPE,PEN coordinator,Ajao Kayode said that the conference aimed to empower attendees with insights and skills for positive change within their industries and communities.
He said,when asked about his inspiration for organizing the conference, “I observed the prevailing issues in the community and recongnised the choice between merely criticizing or actively effecting change,and I chose the latter path as a way to inspire transformation.”
According to him, “addressing the current challenges facing various industries,the pivotal role of the mind in shaping industries matter,and while industries might be founded by individuals, their success depends on the collective mindset of the people involved.
The conference also aimed to nurture, educate,and empower the attendees’ mind to become influencers in existing industries and cataylists for the creation of new ones.”
Mr. Ajao offered advice to participants who have gained knowledge and skills from the workshops. He urged them to translate their learnings into action,emphasizing that this was the path to adding substantial value to their lives.
