President Bola Tinubu, has felicitated with Nigerian star hip-hop artistes nominated for the 2024 Grammy Award.
The global music stars; Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Tems, Asake, and Ayra Starr were nominated for the awards but could not win during the ceremony on Sunday.
However, the President in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, felicitated with the artistes, saying, “Our superstars nominated for the Grammy Awards are all winners. I am proud of their exploits.”
He applauded their exceptional contribution and fidelity to the art, as well as audacity and discipline in the pursuit of excellence.
Adding that, “They represent that Nigerian ideal; the courage to strive and succeed against all odds and the hope to stay true to purpose. I congratulate and thank them for being exemplary envoys of Nigeria.”
