First Bank CEO, Adeduntan Resigns After Nine Years Tenure

Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, the Managing Director of First Bank Nigeria Limited, has announced his resignation from the position.

Adeduntan’s departure marks the end of his nine-year tenure, during which he oversaw the bank’s operations and strategic direction for three terms.

His pre-retirement leave will commence from Saturday, April 20, 2024, according to his resignation letter.

Adeduntan mentioned in his letter that he is departing to pursue other interests, as reported by ThisDay.

In his resignation letter, Adeduntan expressed gratitude to the board of directors of FirstBank and FBN Holdings Plc for their support during his leadership. He also wished the institution continued success as it enters its next phase of growth.”
