Festive Season: Oyo NSCDC deploys 2000 Officers

The Oyo State Commandant CC Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have Deploy 2000 of its personnel to some strategic locations in the state, to ensure a crime free Christmas and New year celebration.

He made this known today at the command Headquarters old Nitel building Agodi Ibadan while addressing the armed squad ,Counter Terrorist, female squad, Disaster Management officers,Agro Rangers and under-cover deploy to motor parks, Recreational centres, worship centres and high ways to ensure water tight security in oyo state before, during and after the Christmas and New year celebration.

In a statement signed by the Defense Public Relations Officer, CSC Oluwole Olusegun and made available to National Telescope on Monday, December 20, 2021, the State Commanant encourage the officers and men to be disciplined, patriotic,and Civil in dealing with the public as every Nigerian deserves respect devoid of humiliation and intimidation.

He called on all the Christian faithfuls to use of the festive season to pray for peace in the Country, be benevolent and moderate in celebration .

He urged well meaningful Nigerians to warn their children and wards to desist from any act that can threaten the peace of the State, also to refrain from throwing fire cracker especially now that Dry Season and Harmattan are fully here with us, and as such, the tendency for a fire-out break is very high during this period of the year.
